LaSonya Whitt is a native of Indiana currently living in Dallas TX.  She has been writing poetry for more than 14 years.  Her very 1st poem was written for her dad for Father’s Day.  It helped to unlock a gift that just keeps flowing.  It eventually grew into a collection of poetry that has since then been published called “From My Heart to Yours”.  She performs her poetry in person in a variety of settings including   churches, café’s, museums, and many other various locations.  She writes for any occasion including but not limited to: Holidays, weddings, funerals, birthdays, anniversaries, and current events etc.  LaSonya has also become a highly sought after host.
She is a regular host for one of the premiere Christian Platform Entertainment companies in Dallas, TX - J’Agape.  She has a special gifting for bringing wholesome entertainment to every show.  She has performed at historic venues such as “The Back Beat Café” and larger venues like “The Potters House in Dallas” her home church.  She is an accomplished comedian having performed at the Addison Improv and the Arlington Improv opening for National Comedienne Ms. Vickie.
LaSonya continues to expand her ministry to online radio, where she is now co-host of the popular talk show “The Re-Up” Her featured segment called Diamond Power inspires women of all ages and background, by helping them to see their significance through the eyes and examples of women in the bible.
This is just the beginning of what God has in store for LaSonya Whitt.  She has already performed in plays and is working on pursuing acting opportunities.  Her powerful ministry will soon be felt worldwide.
